VA Loans in Utah
Utah offers a property tax exemption to veterans with any service-connected disability rating, scaled to the rating. The federal VA loan benefit is the same in every state: eligible buyers can buy with no down payment and competitive rates.

Veterans disabled in the line of duty may qualify for an exemption on part of their home's taxable value, scaled to their disability rating. Veterans the VA classifies as individually unemployable are treated as fully disabled.
Unmarried surviving spouses and minor orphans may also qualify, and the exemption can apply to personal property such as vehicles.
How to apply: File the application with the county where the home is located. Disabled veterans only need to file once; it renews automatically.
